In The Beginning: 2011 a year in Review.

Well this Year is Largely over, but the last thing I need to do is to set down a record of the events that took place. It has been a long journey from start to finish and this journey has been an arduous one, from Dodgy people, Liars, scammers and incompetent work people to plain laziness, stupidity, incomprehension, mixed loyalties and betrayal.

Why is it that this business I am doing is filled with such dishonorable and untrustworthy characters and why most importantly, is that the fundamentals this business more important to the way it is conducted? Every business is about Money. I don't know anyone who runs a business for charity because then they would run a charity. This business has at its core a stream of income that is not taxed and cash based. It means we don't deal with Banks, we don't deal in credit terms, trust is only gained after you pay in full. There are no shortcuts.

It seems simple enough, but clearly some people here don't get the message. If you want to know how this project started, it started because of a Con man, who wanted to take my Money from me using, well , Cows. That's right, the deal was to get me to buy in and then bait and switch later, using some dodgy paperwork and a piece of Land. This scam failed. Mainly because the Crook knew nothing about cows, about their eating habits and their behavior. They soon found themselves in a race to justify their actions to me, as the investor and as the principal source of Money for this project.

Failing this, his scheme was in jeopardy, but I had already known long ago of their plans, and the deal failed because the transaction could not be done quickly enough. So now I was left with a bunch of cows, a piece of land and some people that were supposedly trustworthy. Later on of course I found others whose  words didn't match up and they are lying to rip my money from my wallet. They may get away with it a few times, but eventually all luck runs out and one by one, the liars are exposed and their real intentions aired out in the open.

I have had no choice but to deal with People in this way. It is the nature of what I'm doing, the way the business is, that even sometimes, being this obtuse is not enough as we shall see.

SCAMMER #1: LIES AND DECEIT VEILED IN FRIENDSHIP AND HONESTY.

Scammer #.1 is a person who describes himself a descendant of some Royalty figure. I wont go into details because I don't want to be libelous, but this person proposes to me a scheme to do an agriculturally based project. It involves cows (duh). Scammer #1 details to me the benefits of this business and says he has a partner known as partner#1 who can help me by obtaining a piece of land to do the business. Also, he invites me to do this business on the basis that he remains the sole contact person and only he can arrange the details of the transactions, without me knowing the key people involved and how or where my money is going.

Already alarm bells are ringing, but in my head I believe that in the end the business is worth a shot, because if in the end you can seize the reigns of controls from this 'broker' you can obtain the know how and do the business yourself. All I have to do is play along and pretend that I know nothing until a time that this 'cancerous growth' can be disposed of.

We arrange a deal to buy in. The number of animals is 100 cows. This is revised to 71 cows and at a fixed price of RM 1000.00 per head, Big or small, it is the first deal we do. The seller is partner #2. Partner#2 is a smart man and has been dealing in Agriculture for many years. After a deposit is paid we arrange to go to the site to pick up the cows.

Now, if your following so far then you know already that Scammer#1 has already lost all credibility. His insistence to be in the center, even as a person who wants to help me, is highly suspect. As it turns out he has already made some very Big Mistakes.

Scammer #1 has much to lose if the deal is delayed and insists on collecting my animals despite the site being unprepared. This shows that he has already pro ponderously sold my property without my permission to a third party who dictates that we collect the animals within a certain time frame, sell them directly to them at a price that is unknown to me. The scams fails because scammer#1 cannot do this and by the time he has collected the animals, the deal has expired.

That isn't the end of it either, because Partner#1 who is now setting up the farm ahead of the deal is not finished, and at this time in the year (Early 2011) the weather isn't helping at all. By the time we collect the animals to deliver to the site they are woefully unprepared. Predictably pandemonium ensues. Of the 3 trips we make to collect animals in the beginning of the year we have 2 dead animals, one dead on delivery. the other by some unknown means, but discovered by Partner#2 (the seller) to his own horror, during a visit to see the unfinished site. The site itself is close to an area filled with wild reservation cows, that upon discovering a group of unfamiliar animals, decides that they want to look for 'new genes'. I lose 15 animals to this grouping of wild cows, which have also taken away a mother of a newborn.

Scammer#1 isn't finished yet of course, he bullies Partner#2 who has just collected the payment for his cows and threatens him for a commission. Wait a minute, I thought that was my job! Partner#2 with nothing to lose other than a small measly amount pays him, and shortly afterwards Scammer #1 disappears for a period, then he returns and disappears again several times during the year until he no longer visits.

By now having failed in his Big Scheme, he has no option but to flee having no control over the site, something that I had to insist on after seeing this debacle of a delivery. This person is not so much dishonest but also living in a false image of himself and the people who surround him. Furthermore, had he had any sense at all he would have hesitated upon viewing the site and its condition before deciding to go ahead, something he could not do because of the deal he had arranged on the other end.

It was easy to see through him, mostly because of his ego and determination that he should be paid for doing nothing apart from doing the deal. Sure he arranged it, but it was my money that I had put on the table, at my risk and at the end of it all the animals, the land and the business are my responsibility, not his. Also if he wanted a commission, he should have Asked me beforehand instead of stealing it from the seller.
